A dark leafy green that comes in different colored stalks. Although high in sodium this vegetable is very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Thiamin, Folate and Zinc, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Copper and Manganese. 

Storage: Store chard wrapped in a paper towel inside a bag in the refrigerator.  Make sure its dry, wet leafy greens will spoil quickly.  Wash and dry thoroughly before use.  Stems are edible, you can chop it up and add to your dishes.
